The department

Information Technology is centralized in the Cordstrap headquarter in Oostrum and is organized in 3 teams: Business Process & Applications, Data & Analytics, and Infrastructure & Operations.

The IT team closely collaborates with business teams around the globe both in their day to day work and in strategic improvement projects. Business and IT have defined a compelling technology vision and roadmap with exciting initiatives in the areas of digitizing customer interaction & internal processes, data and analytics, and building robust information security and technology availability.

Primary Responsibilities

  1. The support specialist supports our end-users by solve issues and answering questions on the Cordstrap IT applications and equipment they use. The support engineer helps ensuring applications and equipment are available and secure.
  2. Install end points and mobile devices right the first time.
  3. Provision and authorize user in our IT applications to ensure the user can access what they are authorized for.
  4. Technical application support IT applications hosted on our premises or installed on our end points.
  5. Monitoring the correct and secure operation of our IT systems supported by monitoring systems.
  6. Identify recurring incidents as problems, and resolve these problems.
  7. Maintain our IT equipment inventory.
  8. Support infrastructure improvement projects and changes.


Education

You have a relevant MBO level 4 degree.


Work experience

You have between one and five years (or more) experience working in technical IT support. In this role you have provided technical assistance to end users, build knowledge on supporting user endpoint hardware and software, improving endpoint performance, and endpoint security. You have worked on IT equipment upgrades and contributed to efficient IT support processes. You have affinity with the high pace of commercial manufacturing and distribution businesses.


Required competences

  • Understanding IT infrastructure and information security basics.
  • MS365 platform for Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online.
  • Knowledge and expertise in Microsoft Clients and MS365 Desktop applications.
  • Knowledge and expertise in the area of Microsoft Clients, MS365 applications and Azure.
  • Problem-solving skills and Support ticket management.
  • Working in a team and collaborating.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills (Dutch and English).

Senior Level

  • Support Microsoft Azure AD platform and Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
  • Basic Knowledge with networking on TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, IPSEC to provide network troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge in the area of Microsoft Servers.
