Tool Repair Technician Reports to the Warehouse Manager
Location

Main tasks and duties
Monitors the progress of repairs and processes repairs administratively in the appropriate systems.
Checks, repairs and inspects various types of tensioners.
Overhauls motors of tensioners.
Manages the necessary stock for the repairs and spare parts to be executed.
Prepares spare parts orders for shipment.
Checks incoming goods for tensioners and ensures their physical storage.
Provides technical support and advice to purchasing, product management and sales worldwide.
Identifies and reports construction errors or deviations of outgoing and incoming orders.
Checks returned tensioners and/or parts.
Assists with the composition and assembly of shipments.
Performs root cause analysis in case of complaints.
Adjusts explosion drawings of tensioners.
Gives training on tensioner repairs to customers and colleagues at other locations.
Participates in improvement teams regarding tools.
Responsibilities
Grading and performing own work within the set time limit.
Order and cleanliness in the workplace and compliance with company-specific and occupational health and safety guidelines.
Competences
Works within the framework of labor laws, collective bargaining agreement, company rules and guidelines of the Warehouse Manager.
Determine purchasing needs based on repairs and inventory management
Classify own work within established procedures and stated priorities.
Communication
Warehouse Manager about work in own department.
Maintenance Planner about purchasing parts.
Colleagues in own department about work in own department and instruct.
Suppliers: about placing orders and correcting errors.
Purchasing, about problems with suppliers.
Inside sales: questions about handling repairs and technical support.
Customers (internal/external) about the use and repair of tensioners.
Foreign Languages
English language (oral and written) is required for:
Providing information or requesting clarification to foreign employees and external customers.
Contact with (international) colleagues.
Job requirements
Possesses an MBO work and thinking level, supplemented by a completed education relevant to the position.
Education in a technical field of study.
Has technical insight.
Has experience with MS Office.
