This shift will enable new conversations with customers and unlock new sources of value and growth within our existing customer base.

The Role and Deliverables

As administrative assistant you have a combi function with structural HR work on the one hand and administrative financial work on the other. You work on permanent personnel administration tasks in the areas of inflow through and outflow, such as drafting employment contracts. Together with a colleague, you are also responsible for the timely responses to managers and employees on questions regarding the HR cycle and salary payment.

Besides administration, contact with managers and employees, you try to recognize bottlenecks or potential risks/development opportunities for the organization. You think in a solution-oriented way and help strengthen the administrative processes within the organization. The regional controller has the final responsibility and you help to clarify and structure the issues. The regional controller is responsible for the entire administrative back office of Europe and North America.

Experience

We expect of you:

  • It concerns North America administration, therefore English is a hard requirement both verbally and in writing;
  • You have HBO working and thinking level;
  • You have payroll/salary administration experience or education;
  • You are loyal, honest and discrete;
  • You are practical and can work well independently;
  • You have experience with Microsoft Office;
  • You have a service and customer-oriented attitude;
  • You are flexible, results-oriented and have a driven, proactive and energetic attitude;
  • You can deal with deadlines and priorities, or be able to set them;
  • Experience with personnel administration package Sympa and payroll/salary administration package ADP & HowardSimon is nice to have but not required;
  • You live within reasonable distance of our location in Oostrum.

Position in the Organization

Organizational within the Finance department, together you handle the payroll/salary administration for Europe and North America, with the associated emoluments. There is a division in which you primarily handle the administrative HR processing for North America. You also act as backup for your HR administrative colleague who deals primarily with Europe. The size of North America is approximately 50 colleagues, for whom you have administrative responsibility. In addition to payroll, this includes health insurance, savings etc. 

Location & Travel

We offer you:

  • Working in hybrid format of 3 days per week in office and 2 days from home office;
  • Travel abroad is not expected for this position.
