Main Purpose of role
AP/AR Specialist will be acting as a hands-on financial team member within the international European Finance Team. In the role you will support finance operations by participating in daily cash flow, processing bank statements, payments and invoices into our ERP System. Position in the Organization
The role is part of the Cordstrap Europe Finance tam and reports directly to the Regional Europe Finance Manager. Position will be based at our HQ Oostrum office. Cordstrap supports hybrid working (3 days from office and 2 days from home).
The Role and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities – AP/AR Specialist
- Processing and administration of vendor invoices ensuring they are timely and accurately coded.
- Processing and keeping overview of the expenses & credit card payments.
- Proper administration of the finance emails as well as managing inquiries from customers, suppliers, and other ad hoc requests.
- Assisting in preparing weekly payment batches to banking platforms.
- Processing and posting of incoming payments into ERP system.
- Assisting in monthly closing activities e. preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assisting with other finance-related projects and administrative tasks applicable.
Skills and Experience
- MBO/HBO education.
- Recently graduated juniors are welcome. 1-2 years of AP/AR or accounting experience will be a plus.
- 'Hands-on' mentality with a positive attitude and eager to learn.
- Good command of MS Office, Outlook, ERP system and ability to navigate through various IT systems.
- Good level of English, Dutch will be a plus.
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
