In our overall 5-pillar strategy, Inside Sales plays a huge role in delivering high-quality customer experiences and positive impact to our customer’s business. 

Over the 2 years, we have validated the opportunity within smaller, profitable customers setting the foundation to evolve our sales strategy from tactical follow up to strategic account management and outbound new business focus.  With an initial focus on North America, we are now making big strides in developing a true virtual sales model to generate and maintain profitable sales. This is being done by effectively and efficiently serving smaller customers who want Cordstrap products and quality with easy access to a simple level of customer support.  

As our next Inside Sales Representative, you'll be the one to introduce prospective clients to Cordstrap’s leading solutions and expert guidance. Over the phone, you'll build relationships with an existing customer base and add new business customers. Even better, we'll support you along the way, helping you build your skills with deep onboarding via the Cordstrap Academy and enhance your talents with sales capabilities training. And when you make a name for yourself at Cordstrap, doors will open for advancement opportunities. Success in this role is measured by hitting and exceeding monthly sales goals and consistently staying ahead of weekly metrics, all in a team-focused environment. 


Your Impact  

  • Own and manage an existing customer portfolio
  • Remain organized and manage your time effectively, knowing sales are a numbers game
  • Educate, strategize, and successfully sell Cordstrap solutions through outbound sales calls to new customers
  • Become an expert in Cordstrap’s cargo securing solutions and adapt product recommendations quickly to suit client needs - asking probing questions and overcoming customer objections and rejection will be critical to your success
  • Exceed minimum activity targets & execute coverage plan with your customer base
  • Achieve and consistently exceed monthly sales goals - strong work ethic and tenacity are key
  • Maintain data integrity of internal systems, pipeline and CRM data
  • Work in a high paced casual environment with flexibility to work from home one day a week
  • Be part of a strong NA team, and collaborate with peers around the globe

 

The Successful Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-4 years’ experience, Inside Sales
  • A passion for delivering customer experiences
  • A proven track record of delivering results and the drive to exceed expectations
  • Strong people skills – a good communicator, approachable and engaging
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - no fear of the phone
  • Ability to work under pressure, self-starter
  • Ability to perform professional virtual demos of product applications in a web-based environment
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, Word and CRM Tools)
